For the 10th Time at STIMME FIRMENLAUF in Heilbronn

The STIMME FIRMENLAUF Company run in Heilbronn took place on 25 July 2019 for the 11th time – for amotIQ automotive it was the 10th successful run!
At the company’s anniversary run amotIQ started in the category “Mixed Team” with two teams.
Team 1, with Jochen Zesing, Birgit Lanzl, Peter Heidecke and Alexander Zeising reached 480th place with a time of 02:03:11 hrs.
Team 2, with Levin Rösch, Tanja Nickel, Jan Dresbach and Muzaffer Bozer reached the 459th place with a time of 02:02:20.

More than 7000 runners started at 38 degrees in the shade and in a great atmosphere at the Neckar Stadium on the banks of the Neckar. Due to the high temperatures, the distance to be covered was shortened from about 5.75 km to only 4.8 km. Our “amotIQ Roadrunners” achieved great results of which we are really proud! Many thanks to our eight athletes and until 2020.

amotIQ selected at “15 years amotIQ solutions” in Bonn

On February 8, 2109, amotIQ selected took place in Bonn – together with the jubilee celebration “15 years amotIQ solutions”.

The Collegium Leoninum already proved to be a great location for amotIQ selected in 2017. This year too, amotIQ invited its customers to the popular conference in Bonn, followed by an amotIQ solutions joint anniversary celebration in the amotIQ office in Thomas-Mann-Strasse 2 in the heart of Bonn.

In the anniversary year, selected was dominated by the current topics of Industry 4.0 and RPA (Robotic Process Automation), among others,  in conjunction with SAP.

The guests experienced interesting lectures by employees of the partners of amotIQ solutions – DHL Paket Deutschland, Dr. Ing. Hahn GmbH & Co. KG, SaarGummi Germany GmbH – as well as the amotIQ robotIQ and analytIQ program managers.

All participants used the relaxed breaks for personal exchange and networking – an important part of amotIQ selected.

Afterwards all guests celebrated the 15th anniversary of amotIQ solutions, our partners in Saarbrücken and Bonn with customers, co-workers and even more friends of amotIQ. A successful day, which ended only in the early morning hours of the next day.

Excitement and Information – amotIQ selected

amotIQ consultants are really into it!

On February 18, ten amotIQ automotive consultants got ready for the trips to the customers by completing a driver´s training course at the “Kreisverkehrswacht Heilbronn”. After all, the amotIQ experts are often on site, at the customer’s and thus constantly on the road, on all German and European roads.

In the best spring weather, they learned to recognize and avoid many dangers in good time, as well as driving techniques to deal with dangers. The intensive training was led by driving instructor Anton Hopf, who provided a lot of aha moments with a lot of experience and fun. The training of the optimal braking was practiced on dry and wet roads and on different road surfaces, in curves and obstacles. Dodging, steering and cornering as well as the interception of the escaping car were exciting topics of the entertaining afternoon.

Driver coach Anton Hopf from Heilbronn safety training certified our consultants that they have “really got it!” A praise that made our amotIQ experts particularly happy.

amotIQ JITplant team is growing

amotIQ JITplant team got female access. Birgit Lanzl strengthens the team since January 2019 . The young colleague has many years of experience in the development of software applications where she provides support and introduces the software. As an Oracle expert she is also familiar with the development of programs with WEB surfaces and is so a valuable extension of the know-how for our very experienced JITplant team. As a consultant and developer, our new female reinforcement and development will help us translate our JITplant into the new visual interface.
We warmly welcome Birgit Lanzl and look forward to a good cooperation with her.
As of today, 30 colleagues work for amotIQ automotive. Of which nine, almost a third, is female. Six colleagues are under 35 years old – one of them a DHBW student, a second a student in the internship semester and a third one a working student.

New front woman at amotIQ automotive

From now on, amotIQ automotive in Heilbronn has a new colleague: Tanja Nickel.
At the place where all the threads converge, Ms. Nickel will support our managing directors and the team in a friendly, competent and reliable manner. She is also the first point of contact for all customers, business partners and employees of amotIQ automotive. She succeeds Petra Fischer, who left amotIQ at the beginning of the year for a well-deserved retirement.
We are looking forward to a good cooperation and welcome Tanja Nickel warmly!

amotIQ again exclusive sponsor of HHN Racing

In the fourth year, amotIQ automotive is in 2019 again sponsoring the Formula Student Team of the University of Applied Sciences in Heilbronn.
For this reason, we had a visit from the new HHN Racing project management before Christmas. On Friday, December 14, 2018, our internship student Albert Renz as well as Tim Herkenhoff and Simon Schwärzle from HHN Racing presented numbers and facts about the old and new racing team season 2018 and 2019. In the presence of CEO Peter Heidecke and Frank Mysliwitz and the students from the Heilbronn University amotIQ and HHN Racing both parties jointly signed the new sponsorship contract for 2019. Satisfied faces on both sides and a good feeling for the new season!
We look forward to a continued good relationship between amotIQ and HHN Racing and to the new race car and the new 2019 Formula Student Season as well …

XtaSi LTMS – the amotIQ Inventory Management Tool for Empties Management

amotIQ automotive has developed a system for the inventory management of empties containers in collaboration with its customer Daimler.
The main objective of this application is, to ensure and keep track of the empties inventory of one of the major overseas consolidation centers.

In order to further improve the inventory quality in the empties hall, various measures were taken. One of these is the establishment of four i-points where the transfers to the empties warehouse are carried out. The empties warehouse is equipped with empty load carriers from the packing halls, return goods containers with empties from the foreign assembly plants, new deliveries of load carriers from the carrier manufacturers and return deliveries from suppliers. The small load carriers (KLTs) are thereby stacked to truck transport optimized empties containers and temporarily stored until dispatch. The suppliers of technical materials are supplied with empties from this stock, as needed.

More than 8,000 load carrier movements with more than 500 different carrier numbers are handled every day in the empties hall.

The new amotIQ tool makes it easier for employees to manage empty packaging, request and print packaging labels and book carrier movements in the higher-level SAP system. This ensures a high charge carrier turnover with a maximum inventory security.
