A key requirement was to establish reliable communication between the existing warehouse software systems and a secure Just-in-Time (JIT) solution that could operate around the clock, 6 days a week.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"859\"><strong data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"857\">The Solution<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1105\">This need led to the beginning of a long-term collaboration in 2008 between IDEAL Automotive Ingolstadt GmbH \u2013 an international system supplier and development partner to the automotive industry \u2013 and the JITplant team at amotIQ automotive GmbH.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1724\">Gerd Sihler, ICT Team Leader at IDEAL Automotive, was looking for a comprehensive system supported by a reliable team with in-depth knowledge of OEM-specific processes. He found both in <strong data-start=\"1293\" data-end=\"1326\">JITplant by amotIQ automotive<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1330\" \/>JITplant maps all <strong data-start=\"1348\" data-end=\"1374\">JIS (Just-in-Sequence)<\/strong> processes in logistics and production and integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructures. A standout feature: it can function either as a <strong data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1541\">standalone solution<\/strong> or in combination with other systems \u2013 as is the case at IDEAL Automotive. There, JITplant operates alongside the <strong data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1674\">SAP ERP system<\/strong> and also manages the required <strong data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1723\">EDI processing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1897\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1728\" data-end=\"1897\"><strong data-start=\"1728\" data-end=\"1818\">\u201cThe JITplant team knows their product. They know exactly what they\u2019re talking about.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"1818\" data-end=\"1821\" \/>\u2013 <em data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"1897\">Matthias Ondra, Process Owner Logistics + Planning at IDEAL Automotive<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1899\" data-end=\"2332\">Over the course of the collaboration, new customers and production sites were added to IDEAL Automotive\u2019s portfolio. The flexibility offered by JITplant made it possible to respond to each system\u2019s specific requirements and become part of these new projects. According to Gerd Sihler, this flexibility was crucial for IDEAL Automotive\u2019s openness to new markets, allowing for individual customer requirements to be met with precision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2334\" data-end=\"2826\">Thanks to the JITplant team&#8217;s <strong data-start=\"2364\" data-end=\"2419\">background knowledge and deep process understanding<\/strong>, IDEAL Automotive initially received full customer support, with the amotIQ team even handling parts of the projects independently.
